The ProLinea Offset Espagnolette window handle, is also called a cranked or curved window handle with a rose cover which conceals the screws, beneath a matching rose cover.  The ergonomic push button assembly provides smooth operation and meets child safety regulations. Finger grips provide optimum comfort when the window handle is in use. The ProLinea Offset Espagnolette Window Handle is also available in a non-locking version.  These handles can be used to replace any double glazed window handle as the espag lock fixing holes are all universally 43mm screw centres. Just check whether you need a left or a right hand handle and that our spindle length is the one required.

The ProLinea espagnolette handle is a stylish, high specification, push-to-operate, key-to-deadlock handle.

This handle is the Mila window espag (also called espagnolette) handle, it has a locking function. However, it is advised not to lock bedroom windows (or any windows for that matter) as they will be needed as an escape in the case of fire.

There are several reasons why you will need to replace your window handle, for instance, if the hinges are damaged or corroded they will become sticky and the window can jam, causing strain on the window handle when pulling excessively to close the window.  It’s common that when you have to replace your uPVC window handle that you have to replace the window hinge at the same time.

We have identified a few other causes for replacing broken uPVC window handles, for example:

  1. When the mechanism is jammed, often the handle can be put under pressure and the homeowner can wring the handle.
  2. The handle can break due to good old fashioned wear and tear and lack of maintenance.

These are just a few of the reasons why you will need to replace your broken uPVC window handle.  This replacement handle will fit most PVC casement windows, some modern aluclad, aluminium or wooden windows also.
