Avocet WMS Universal Espag Mushroom uPVC Window Keep Strike Plate ERK UNIM

A strike plate, also called a window keep or a receiver is a small plate that fits into the window frame so the espag mushroom cam slides up and down or over and back to seal the window shut tight for security and also to stop draughts from coming in the windows.  There are many different types of strike plates and we have an array to choose from.  See the photo below to see what a strike plate looks like and how it would be fitted onto your (usually) uPVC window.

These espag keeps (also called receivers, and strike plates) are used on uPVC windows, wooden windows, and aluminum windows, each keep has a serial number on the back of them, and you may have to remove the keep from the eurogrove bed to see which number it is,  each keep has a part number/product code on it, for example, ERK008M etc, this is very important, as although many of the keeps look similar, there are differences and many will not interfit. The keeps are designed to secure the window closed, the window mechanism cam or mushroom roller slides into the window keep to ensure a tight and secure for when the window sash is closed.  These are perfect for repairs or retrofitting.
