Receiver Strike Plate or Keep

This Mushroom Espag keeps are commonly used on UPVC window profiles, each keep has the part number under the photo, however these plates are designed to accept a mushroom cam, the type fitted to many UPVC window espag locks

We also sell the universal strike plate (ERKUNIM) which is marked on the photo, and is a universal window keep so will fit just about all uPVC windows with an espag and mushroom cams. The back or bottom of this keep is flat so it can be made to fit most window profiles. Usually found on uPVC double glazed windows, this keep accepts a mushroom cam which is a common window lock used in PVC windows.

A strike plate, also called a window keep or a receiver is a small plate that fits into the window frame so the espag mushroom cam slides up and down or over and back to seal the window shut tight for security and also to stop draughts from coming in the windows.  There are many different types of strike plates and we have an array to choose from.  See the photo below to see what a strike plate looks like and how it would be fitted onto your (usually) uPVC window.
