This transom door closer is a hold open transom closer, it will stay open and in place until closed making the door perfect for all retail, shop, commercial, and office buildings.

Commercial door parts and hardware are available in different grades.

1. Grade 1 is Best, heavy-duty, commercial-grade usage
2. Grade 2, Medium & light duty, commercial usage
3. Grade 3, Economy, light-duty, residential

The quality of the product is a reflection of the grade level. Grade 1 hardware will last longer than grade 3.
When selecting door closers and locksets, consider if the parts you are buying and if the grade is applicable for the type of use you need them for.
