Munster Joinery Timber Door Draft Seal Draught Rubber Gasket in Brown

Replacement Wooden Door Draft Seal compatible with Munster Joinery Timber & Most Other Wooden Doors.  These wooden door seals are pretty hard-wearing, however painting, keys getting caught when locking, or general wear and tear in a family home can cause them to become brittle and fail.  These are easy to replace, just remove the old damaged door seal and ensure the grove on the timber door is clean and free from dust, etc, the new seal will fit into the grove on the door frame to  help keep those draughts out and save you €’s on heating every week.

NB* You can use silicone spray to help this seal slip into place, it’s not a must but a tip to make fitting easier.

Note: This door seal is slightly wider than the original Munster Joinery Seal, the first few weeks with a new tight seal can make the door feel tight, and this is normal and nothing to worry about, it’s just compressing into place and creating a great windproof seal.  We have a smaller one, the MJ window seal, but in our own repair business, we dont personally put this into doors as it compresses very fast and can have you back to square one with draughts in a year or so.  This wooden door seal is universal but do check the measurements, as it does fit most wooden doors but not all.
